SnapNames has agreed to be acquired by Oversee.net. Oversee, a company already familiar to many in the domain name industry, is a technology-driven online marketing solutions company that already offers an impressive array of services to domain name owners. You can learn more about the company at www.oversee.net.
It's important that you understand there will be no changes to the way SnapNames provides its services. This is a combination of two industry leaders with outstanding reputations for serving domain name investors and customers at all levels.
We were attracted to Oversee for many reasons, including the opportunity to offer SnapNames customers a greater breadth of service offerings. Together, the two companies can provide services that support our customers' needs throughout the entire life cycle of a domain name, including procurement, monetization and sales.
This transaction is expected to close in mid-June. Of course, we're always available to assist you in any way we can and encourage your questions and comments. Our support team is available to you here:

At SnapNames, you will continue to find the world's largest selection of expired domain names. You'll find no changes to your account or the way you do business with us. We value you as a customer and thank you for your continued business.
FAQs:
What will change about the way I do business with SnapNames?
Nothing will change. SnapNames will continue to operate its business and provide names to its customers
as it always has.
Who will control the supply of names?
SnapNames, with its partners, will continue to be responsible for the supply of names. There will be
no changes to how SnapNames does business with its partners and customers.
How will SnapNames and Oversee maintain fairness in terms of who gets what name?
SnapNames is known and respected for its fairness to all customers, regardless of who they are. All customers
are treated equally. This will not change.
How will customers who happen to be Oversee's competitors be treated?
They'll receive the same quality of service they did prior to the merger. Our relationships with our customers
will not change.
Who will provide customer service?
For the availability and daily auction of domain names, the SnapNames team will continue to service you and
your account. However, one of the reasons for the transaction is the opportunity to efficiently provide both
companies' customers with additional services, so we anticipate that other services will be available to you
in the near future.
Will I have to learn a new bidding system, or re-create my account, or do anything else with SnapNames as
a result of the merger?
No. From your point of view as a customer, there are no changes at all. It will be business as usual with SnapNames.
How can we be assured SnapNames will continue to do business as it has before?
SnapNames' business is successful because of its reputation for fairness and transparency. This is the
foundation of our success.
Who will guarantee that Oversee doesn't receive preferential treatment?
Actions speak louder than words. As you continue to do business with SnapNames, you'll see for yourself that
business practices have not changed.
In the past, you ran the auction independently. How does this transaction impact customers who have been
actively buying names, who now know that Oversee also may have been bidding in auctions? Is Oversee getting
better pricing?
No. Nothing changes about the auction process. Again, SnapNames' reputation is based on fairness — this is
extremely important to SnapNames and its customers.
What about parking my names?
Customers should consider parking their names with DomainSponsor, one of the industry's best service providers.
However, customers may park domains with the provider they prefer.
So what changes are planned?
We don't plan to change anything. SnapNames will continue to operate independently, with the same team running the business.
Is SnapNames' management staying on?
Yes. Sudhir Bhagwan remains CEO, and his team will continue to run SnapNames from its Portland, Oregon headquarters.
